Dear users of the eu.bac Certification Management System, After 18 years of use, the eu.bac Certification Management System - CMS is being released in a revised form. The CMS you have been using for the last few years will be based on a new database and its functionality will be improved to make it more user-friendly. The existing data will be retained, and all applications, registrations and certificates will be transferred to the new system. The previous features of the CMS will be retained. One of the main changes is that applications, certificates and registered products will now be linked to the company rather than the applicant. Linking the applications to the respective companies makes it possible to transfer the rights and processing of applications more quickly to the person now responsible in the event of a change of personnel. Each company nominates a "super applicant". Other employees can register with one of the listed companies when they register in the CMS, and the "super applicant" is asked whether this person will be accepted as the company's representative in the CMS and what rights this person will receive. In some cases, there are currently several company addresses under which applications have been submitted. In this case, we will contact the named individuals to clarify who should be listed as the central contact person. People without applications have been removed from the system and are welcome to re-register. Another criticism of the old CMS was that no official offer letter was issued. With the new system, applicants have the option of downloading an official quote from Service GmbH before confirming the order and can enter the PO number before confirming the order. This option was not available before. We will replace the old management system with the new CMS on 22 May 2024.
